Campaign well under way in Workington

THANKS to the sterling work of that leafleting dynamo Stephen (Todd) Stoddart (left) our campaign in Workington has got off to a flying start with 4,000 local Patriot leaflets distributed in Seaton, Northside and the St Michaels Ward part of the town.

Todd has hit the areas that haven't received a BNP leaflet before and as well as the General Election warm-up leaflet, he is also distributing a national recruitment leaflet.

Paul Stafford came with me this morning for our weekly trip to Cockermouth where around 1,000 leaflets were put out. We have finished Christchurch ward in the town and now started on All Saints Ward.

In Maryport, Steve Harris is back from his annual visit down-under and the campaign there gets underway next week, as it does in Flimby where Carl Edgar is our team leader.

Chris Davidson to stand in Penrith and the Borders

I was busy working on election maps late into the night, preparing the 25 election packs of our team leaders and their activists in the wards that make up the Workington constituency.

Yesterday's internal problems within the Labour Party can only help our cause and the senseless leadership challenges and all the bickering that follows will only depress Labour's swindling band of activists even more.

Having said that, my campaign in Workington will target the Tories more than Labour. I certainly don't want to see a Conservative victory and will be reminding voters that this Labour Government has only been so appalling because Blair and Brown became the Pink Tory Party.

It is White working class Britons who have suffered the most because they lost Old Labour - a party whose activists at least, went through the motions of fighting their corner. Now it is only the British National Party that represents them.



There was good news yesterday when Chris Davidson (left) was selected as the British National Party's candidate for Penrith and the Borders. The constituency is very rural and the farming community holds sway here and that's why we are so pleased that Chris is our candidate. He has had a long and enduring friendship with this community and is very well known and trusted by them.

The main towns in his constituency are Penrith, Wigton and Longtown. In Penrith we recently polled 12% in a local council election. Across the whole of Wigton BNP candidate Paul Stafford polled 19% in June at the county council elections, and in Longtown, Chris himself polled 15%.

With a good campaign I think the British National Party will certainly be making its presence felt in this Tory stronghold.

Campaign gets underway

There was a General Election planning meeting in Workington last night attended by 20 key activists.

The weather was shocking with temperatures down to -5, thick snow underfoot and snow flurries in the air.

Full marks to one activist from St Michaels Ward who walked the two miles to the venue, up some steep and slippery hills, despite being partially sighted and having a guide dog. If our team shows that sort of commitment then we shall certainly have the old gang parties on the run.

Team leaders are to be allocated to each of the 25 wards that make up the Workington Constituency and a number came forward to take up the posts at yesterday's meeting.

I gave a brief outline of of how I hoped the campaign would go and an initial timetable for the first round of leafleting.

The first drop will start in Cockermouth with both Christchurch and All Saints wards completed by the end of the month.

Households here will get two leaflets. The full colour glossy A3 Nick Griffin leaflet outlining his work in the European Parliament and this will be accompanied by an A4 black and white leaflet both introducing me to the electorate and covering a local topic.

The weather here today is shocking with near blizzard conditions but thankfully this has brought with it a slight rise in temperature.

Eddy Bulter is here to investigate the November floods on behalf of Nick Griffin. He had been hoping to visit both Crummock Water and the Thirlmere Reservoir this morning but it looks as though many of the Fell roads are blocked by snow.

However I believe that Eddy also has some meetings in Keswick with former United Utilities employees who will give him a briefing on procedures at the dams and on the responsibilities and consequences of opening the sluice gates.

Greed behind West Cumbria flood disaster

IT WAS five years ago that United Utilities, which owns the Thirlmere reservoir (above), was first asked to lower the water level during the Autumn so that there was additional capacity to hold the winter rains coming off the Lake District Fells.

The private company refused to do so, claiming that its priority was to keep the reservoir full to the brim so that it could provide the necessary water to meet the needs of 300,000 homes in Greater Manchester.

Back in 2005, both Keswick and Cockermouth were flooded because when the above average rainfall filled Thirlmere to over-flowing, the excess water turned the River Greta into a raging torrent.

It was deja vu this November when heavy rainfall caused Thirlmere to overflow yet again. The result this time was that not only were Keswick and Cockermouth flooded again but also the main Northside bridge in Workington was swept away and PC Bill Barker lost his life preventing a major disaster by stopping cars from crossing the bridge.

Again, prior to the disaster, the Thirlmere Reservoir was full to the brim. This time to make the problem worse, work was being carried out on the Manchester aqueduct restricting the amount of water making its way down to the city which meant the reservoir was overflowing even before the heavy rains of November 19th.

If the water level in Thirlmere had been 3 meters below the reservoir wall, as was called for back in 2005, then this disaster wouldn't have happened because the abnormal rainfall would have been easily absorbed.

Critics of United Utilities say the company keeps the water level high so that water can be pumped out to Manchester using the existing equipment. If the water level was to drop, then new, more efficient pumps, would have to be purchased which would eat into the company's profits and its shareholders' returns.

There is no doubt that the high water level in Thirlmere was responsible for the devastation caused in Workington and Cockermouth.

Water levels in the reservoir are the responsibility of United Utilities so the company should be footing the bill for the damage they have caused and making sure that in the future the water level Thirlmere is never over the 3 meters from the top mark.

Ready for the General Election year

BEST WISHES for 2010, a year that will hopefully see further electoral progress for the British National Party.

No posts during December for very good reasons. My visit to Cockermouth just after the floods brought home the magnitude of what had happened. When you see the reality of people's homes and businesses virtually destroyed, words seem frivolous.

Updating my blog seemed trivial to say the least - especially with talk of politics and policies when the constituency where I am standing has been split in two by the loss of the two bridges that connect Northside, Seaton, Flimby and Maryport to the main town of Workington.

There's been a lot of gossip about what took place and just how a torrent of water was able to take out the main Workington bridge which had stood for nearly 100 years. It's important to fact find before pointing any fingers, and that's what I and my team will be doing in the run-up to the General Election.

Although, I wasn't blogging, I was busy with a trip to Brussels for some training and then a week in Strasbourg as the Parliamentary Assistant to Andrew Brons. This was a fascinating few days, researching for the numerous votes that were taking place, helping Andrew prepare for two speeches he made in the European Parliament and attending a meeting of European nationalists where I met Jean Marie Le Pen, his daughter Marine and the impressive Bruno Gollnish.

The weather has been playing havoc here in West Cumbria and the rest of the North of England. When returning home from Strasbourg my eldest daughter met me at Leeds Bradford Airport. On the trip home there was a blizzard and we got stranded, first along the A1 and then on the A66. Despite landing just after 9.00pm, we didn't get home till three in the morning.

Then two days later I met my other daughter, returning from university in France, at Newcastle Airport. Here again we got caught in a blizzard on the way home and were trapped for an hour on the A69 because cars were unable to get up the hill at Haltwhistle. There were incredible scenes with cars sliding all over the road and others trying to climb the hill via the central reservation.

Here in Wigton we have been frozen solid for the festive week. Pavements are lethal and venturing out in the car takes ten minutes of preparation because of frosted windscreens. Very little football with Workington Reds not having played since a victory over Nuneaton saw us through to the next round of the FA Trophy. The next outing is due to be at Blyth on New Year's Day, but reports from Croft Park say the pitch is still frozen.

It's the West Cumbrian way

I went to Cockermouth on Thursday, just to take stock of the situation and speak to some local people.

Clive Jefferson, who lives in the town, and Eddy Butler, who was there on a fact finding visit for Nick Griffin MEP, were with me as we walked down the main street talking to residents and members of the emergency services.

We did a bit of filming for BNPtv away from where people were trying to salvage what was left of their belongings and down by the river. The strength and height of the Derwent was still very worrying, although the weather had improved and level of the river is said to have dropped.

We visited the home of a BNP voter and he told us the harrowing story of the night and how events unfolded. It all happened so quickly. One minute he was watching television and the next his car had been washed away and his lounge was knee deep in water.

He was busy cleaning up and getting on with life. And that seems to be the way of things. It's the West Cumbrian way.

Football at Borough Park this afternoon where there will be a minute's silence for the brave Bill Barker who lost his life saving the lives of others just a few yards from the ground. Borough Park itself was just six inches from being swamped but the double bank that protects the ground from the Derwent held firm and withstood the raging torrent.

Not the time for showboating or scoring political points

MORE rain, gale force winds and power cuts last night . . . and that's here in Wigton which is around 15 miles from Cockermouth and Workington.

Nick Griffin MEP yesterday submitted a written question to the European Commission seeking the position on possible financial help for West Cumbria from the European Disaster Fund.

Gordon Brown was right to come to West Cumbria and right to immediately offer aid, even if it was only a fraction of what is paid out by the Government in Foreign Aid.

The Health and Transport Ministers were right to come to West Cumbria to assess what needs to be done to help alleviate the problems arising from the current situation.

David Cameron shouldn't have come. All he could offer was empty soundbites and he was only here to 'showboat' and score political points. It is not the time for this.

Nick Griffin will be coming up to West Cumbria when the media circus has gone and it has become much clearer where help is most needed. There is a fund that has been launched by the Cumbria Community Foundation called the Cumbria Flood Recovery Fund, and unless there are more specific projects in need of funding, I shall be suggesting to our MEP that this is the fund which he supports.

Taking each day at a time

I WAS on the telephone to Nick Griffin for around an hour yesterday lunchtime.

He was traveling to Strasbourg and wanted an update on the situation in West Cumbria and to discuss ways in which, in his role as the region's MEP, he could help.

The situation has improved and water levels have dropped but not before the Calva Bridge was damaged beyond repair. That bridge, along with the now disappeared Northside Bridge, were the only means of getting into Workington along the coast road coming from Carlisle, Wigton and Maryport. Now to get to Workington you have to come in from the east via the road from Cockermouth.

Tonight and Tuesday are the next key days of weather and at the moment for the people of West Cumbria it is all about taking each day as it comes and just hoping that there is no further destruction.

Stunned

WEST Cumbria is in a state of shock this morning after the events of the last 48 hours.

The tragic loss of Bill Barker on the bridge in Workington, just by the Reds football gound, has left everyone stunned.

Clive Jefferson reports that Cockermouth is virtually under seige from rising water and there's the worry that the renewed onslaught from the weather, which is forecast for today, could have further devastating effect.

On Thursday when the storm hit us, at one point it seemed as though the roof of our constituency office might blow off. I was crawling around in the eaves with buckets trying to catch the leaks as the rain came down in sheets.

There are floods everywhere but thankfully the office has survived so far and Tina and I live on a hill so we should be OK.

Today's FA Trophy tie against Solihull has quite correctly been postponed - not because the pitch is waterlogged - apparently it's quite playable - but because of the tragedy at the bridge.

I spoke with Nick Griffin at length yesterday as he wanted a complete briefing on the situation in Workington and Cockermouth. He wants to help but said that we must wait until the emergency services have done their work and the media circus has left the area. Then we will see how we can be of use by utilising Nick's English Fair Fund to support any local projects helping the stricken community.

Tina's off the Carlisle this morning to do a bit of shopping by has strict instructions to be back by mid-day when the next round of weather is due to hit. At the moment the sun is shining and there's not a breath of wind . . . . the lull before the storm?

34 years ago there was "Publish it Not"

Day off today - but there's no relaxing as I'm decorating.

I promised my two daughters that they would have a new bright lounge to greet them when they come home from Uni at Christmas, so I have to get cracking.

Last night I watched Peter Oborne's expose of the power of the Israeli lobby within British politics and the media. Shock, horror for Peter and some other ostriches who have had their heads buried in the sand for the past quarter of a century, but not for me . . .

Back in 1975 I read a book called Publish it Not by Michael Adams and Christopher Mayhew which said everything that Oborne was saying, only 34 years earlier. Thousands of politicians and journalists over the years have known what is going on but have stayed silent, and anyone who did voice concerns, like me, were branded an anti-semite.

I often get irritated by Hugh Muir's Diary in The Guardian, but not this morning. It even made me chuckle. If there was a contact email for him I would have sent him a 'thumbs up'. Take a look at the last paragraph, I'm sorry my laptop doesn't seem to want to link to it.

And finally never let Andrew Gilligan become an army general. According to his article in the Daily Telegraph this morning, Nick has made a mistake in choosing to stand in Barking because it is being ethnically cleansed much too quickly. Gilligan thinks the BNP should retreat from the immigration frontline back to Dagenham where there are more traditional Brits.

If Gilligan was our commander-in-chief, by the 2020 General Election our retreats would have taken us back through Hornchurch, Romford and Grays and our back would be against the sea at Southend.

Annual Conference over for another year

BRILLIANT weekend crowned by Nick's selection as our candidate for Barking.

I have been number-crunching the votes in Barking this morning and it's all rather exciting. You can see the outcome of my deliberations on Nick's EU website.

Delighted with the vote on the membership criteria, not because of what it will mean to our Party, but because everyone accepted that there was no other alternative. One of the best speeches came from Richard Edmonds - someone who I would describe as a 'hardliner' - he succinctly summed up the situation we face and the road we must take.

My selection as the British National Party candidate for Workington made the newspapers on Friday and you can read the report here

I wasn't "unavailable for comment", I just don't speak to the newspaper. At the elections this June, the bias against the BNP was appalling. Time and again they published lies about the British National Party and all my press statement and letters were ignored.

I certainly won't be speaking to the Times & Star again unless I get a commitment from the editor that there will be free and fair coverage of the election campaign. I won't need any publicity from the newspaper because I shall be going direct to the voters with my leaflets, covering the constituency over the next five months as well as using the Royal Mail for the distribution of my election address.

My main campaign issues will be getting our troops out of Afghanistan, stopping the windfarm juggernaut in Cumbria and the regeneration of the region's manufacturing industry.

Anorak Time

I shall be standing in Workington at the General Election next May.

I am delighted to have been selected and excited by the prospect. I have promised Allerdale British National Party that I shall be pulling out all the stops to get the best possible result.

That would be a saved deposit for us and no mean feat on the stats considering we only contested 10 of the 25 wards that make up the constituency.

Now that is a very useful vote share and I'm confident that it can be built on over the next six months.

Work is already underway on the campaign strategy and I'm jotting down ideas for the literature. First job next week is a newsletter to our considerable enquiry and membership list within the constituency to start geeing people up for the hard slog ahead.

Elections . . . I just love them!

Is there a daily newspaper with our name on it?

THE establishment are scoring some huge own goals and the repercussions will reverberate throughout the body politic of Britain.

I can't say too much at the moment as all these issues are ongoing, but suffice to say that the Labour Government and its cronies might have been able to deny the British National Party its legal rights before we had our two MEPs elected, but since June 4th it is now a very different ballgame.

There are six specific issues currently under scrutiny where the representatives of the British National Party have been deliberately discriminated against, when trying to fulfill their duties as members of the European Parliament. Legal advice states that it is against the "spirit of constitutional law" what is being done, while a political correspondent, one who has no sympathy with the BNP, has described the actions as "outrageous" and "sure to enhance the BNP's victim status in the eyes of the public."

Watch this space!

I was particularly pleased to note a comment made by one Nick Durst in the Sunday Times after the report on the British National Party's growing support in Blackburn, Stoke and Leicester. He wrote:

"If the BNP are growing then the first media outlet to give them a fair hearing will grow too. The public are interested in the British National Party and want more honest and unbiased reporting about their policies, rather than the lies printed in most newspapers which is designed to discredit the BNP. "

I'm hoping to see many more of these types of comment in the future. It will take a brave newspaper to make such a stand, but as support and the media profile of the British National Party continues to grow, such a move might become a distinct possibility.

Nick's a celeb!

OK and Hello magazines had better get their skates on if they want to have a Nick and Jackie exclusive because the other celebrity publications are already asking for features on the British National Party chairman and his lovely wife.


Before Question Time we would have regarded such string of requests for non-political and just personal and family interviews as highly suspicious. But now they have become a regular occurrence and our internet research shows that the journalists are who they say they are and that their previous work has been reporting on political 'celebrities'.

I don't know what Nick and Jackie will make of all this personal attention. I expect they will be rather reluctant to say anything, after their recent experience with the seriously physiologically damaged Dominic Carmen.

Nick's MEP mailbag is massive as is his European Parliament workload. How he manages all his British National Party work as well is a testament to his 24 hour, 7 days a week commitment to both jobs.

THE FRENCH DEFEATED: America should have heeded history before getting involved in Vietnam. Britain should have done the same before getting involved in Afghanistan.

Re-reading The Quicksand War by Lucien Bodard and it is a brilliant book. It's the best one to read if you want to understand the Vietnam War. The book covers the period after the Second World War to the defeat of the French at Dien Bien Phu in 1954. If the Americans had known what Bodard did about the commitment of the Vietminh, they would never have got involved.

Workington Reds are away at Telford tomorrow so I shall be glued to Radio Cumbria all afternoon listening for the latest updates. In the morning it will be putting the garden to bed for the winter. I had been hoping to do this on Sunday, but the forecast for Cumbria is gale force winds and torrential rain with the possibility of storm damage and flooding so I shall probably pop into the office and do a bit of work.

The Stormfront Times

Well can you believe it?

The Times, once the newspaper of record, is using a so-called neo-nazi website that has more anti-nazi contributors than those who worship Hitler, as a source for its information.

This once proud newspaper is sinking to new depths at a rapid rate of knots and you just wonder why the current editor allows Fiona Hamilton's ridiculous anti-BNP tirades to appear day after day.

I see the 'fish killer' Matthew Collins was also contacted for a quote, but I have to admit that he is very knowledgeable on the subject of the Stormfront website. That's because he posts on it himself under three different names and often starts the anti-BNP threads before calling The Times to tell them about it.

You will see plenty more of this 'over-the-top' reporting on the British National Party in the run-up to next month's all important Annual Conference when the preliminary discussion on the possibility of changing our membership criteria will take place. Our opponents are desperate to whip up a storm of opposition to the proposed change in a last ditch effort to get our Party banned, and today's promotion of the Stormfront website in The Times is the opening shot of this campaign.

The flood of support for Nick Griffin after his performance on Question Time is unrelenting. There's telephone call after telephone call at all the British National Party offices from people contacting the Party for the first time to voice their support and express their disgust at the tactics of the BBC.

The British people don't like to see unfairness or victimisation. Their eyes have now been opened and, as I said yesterday, all these new attacks on Nick and the BNP only go to confirm our victim status.

Of course I'm delighted that The Times also boosted my 'street cred' within Party as mooting me as a new fuhrer. However this boost will be short lived if Colin Goodgroves' photo of me allegedly dropping off during the Trafalgar Club dinner at the weekend get circulated amongst the membership.



Colin calls the photo, "tired but happy" and I think that just about sums up how I was feeling.

But the genie is out of the bottle

AFTER Saturday's brief respite in the media, the attacks on the BNP are back with a vengeance with the newspapers of the last two days full of the same old hate stories designed to whip up a campaign against the British National Party and its membership.

But I firmly believe that the public will now have a different slant on those stories to what they would have had before the Question Time programme.

The bullying of Nick Griffin on that programme and the gloating about that bullying that appeared in Friday's newspapers have certainly propelled the British National Party into the limelight with a considerable victim status, and any further nasty media attacks on the Party just go to elevate that victim status in the mind of the public even further.

I think the Genie is certainly out of the bottle

The higher profile of the British National Party increases the workload of those employed by the Party and who work for our two MEPs and the telephone in our North West Office has been been constantly ringing over the past few days with callers wanting to become involved or to offer support.


It was an excellent night on Saturday and contrary to what was said in today issue of The SUN, the dinner was a thank you to those who have supported the Trafalgar Club over the past 12 months. The only collection taken at the event was for the staff at the hotel for providing a brilliant evening with superb food.

We stayed at a stunning hotel on the outskirts of Ross-on-Wye and thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend, although we didn't stay for Sunday's boat trip but made an early start for our long trip back home to Cumbria.

Ooops . . . . The Sun scores an own goal!. Our call centre reports donations flooding in after The Sun had claimed today that a "fund-raising" dinner in Ross-on-Wye was a flop.

Fund-raiser Jim Dowson is delighted:

"The Trafalgar Club dinner wasn't a fund-raiser, but thanks to The Sun it has now become one as the public, sympathetic to the BNP after the lion's den of Question Time, want to show their support."

WOW!!! Get the newspapers

THEY must be talking about two different events!

Compare the newspapers of this morning with the newspapers of yesterday. Nick has gone from villain to victim and that's because of the public outcry over Question Time.

And it's almost every newspaper, with only The Sun , Daily Express and The Mirror that are still out of touch - but then they almost always are.

The most important contribution comes from the Daily Mail in a report about the Question Time 'set-up'. There's a comment on my posting yesterday from someone who attended which confirms what took place.

There's also the revelation from a former Tony Blair speechwriter that Labour have encouraged immigration to change the demographic face of Britain.

For me, I'm interested in an article in The Times which says that William Hill have cut the odds of the BNP winning a seat at the General Election from 10/1 to 7/2 . . . money often talks.

I'm sorry there are no links but Tina and I are off to the Trafalgar Club dinner which is a very long drive for us. What a celebration this is going to be.

The bullying will backfire

AT last, back blogging. I was trying to update this site last night after Question Time but my site was down with a series of bizarre messages denying me access.

Huge response this morning with every call saying that the whole programme was a stitch-up and many of the comments on the newspaper websites are following the same argument. And I think this take on Question Time will gather pace as the day progresses and this will be helped by all the biased headlines this morning.

Brits don't like victimisation, and that is happening to Nick at the moment. The political elite and their friends in the media are misreading the mood of the nation and their bullying tactics will backfire.

One of our local councillors has just popped into the office and she says that all the talk amongst young mums dropping their children at school was about Nick and the BNP. Not many watched the programme but had seen the news this morning and they all said that what they saw was very unfair.

And this very moment I have taken a call from a Jewish lady who wanted to congratulate Nick. She said he did very well in a difficult situation and that many people like her supported what he had to say.

I know Nick is shattered this morning after a gruelling week, but there is no respite for the BNP chairman with a string of interviews arranged for today. Tomorrow it's the Trafalgar Club dinner so at least then Nick will be able to relax amongst friends.

And I think that was the over-riding impression from what took place last night - there wasn't a friendly face in sight. Certainly no one in the Question Time programme was able to offer Nick any respite, and amongst all the other invited guests on every news programme there wasn't one who spoke up in support of the British National Party.

Just taken another call on the programme from another lady with that same word mentioned again and again "unfair".

And guess what . . . others think so too.

Snow steps in to save a chinless wonder

LATE on parade this morning due to the need to hire evening dress for this weekend's 10th Anniversary Trafalgar Club Dinner.

I have never attended one of these functions before so I am looking forward to it. A sign of the credit crunch times maybe was that Greenwoods were selling evening dress for half price. I bought a complete outfit for just over £100, when to rent it would have been £55. So if I wear it on two occasions I am in pocket.

When I woke up yesterday morning I was preparing for a very difficult day, but as the hours passed things just got better and better with the Party enjoying a £multi-million media advertising coup thanks to the Tories and their anti-BNP campaign.

What better way can there be to end a day than seeing Nick demolish chinless Tory Toff James Bethell on Channel Four News. Jon Snow had to effectively get in and stop the interview by interrupting Nick and making comments about the size of his poppy badge. Bethell had been floundering, even calling Nick by his christian name, something which is completely taboo for opponents to do on TV.

Personally we had a good day as well. After Tina was sacked as a mental health graduate because of her membership of the British National Party she took up a job as a part-time health care worker. This involved working every Saturday and Sunday to feed, wash and put elderly and disabled folk to bed. It was a poorly paid job but we needed the money.

At the time, the workers' union were campaigning for parity of wages with male care workers. Well, Tina left when she got a job with the BNP and thought nothing more of it, so it was a pleasant surprise yesterday morning to receive a cheque for £600 which was the balance of a new back-dated pay structure giving the lady care workers a fairer deal.

IT'S nearly three o'clock. Tina and Alistair are fielding telephone calls and Clive is next door monitoring the huge amount of media coverage.

I'm trying to post reports on "this morning in Parliament" on our MEP's websites but both sites, along with the main website, are down under a prolonged attack.

In the past hours our victim status has risen to an all time high with the public, in phone-ins and on the internet, rallying behind the Party and against the unfair bullies in the media, the Labour Party and the Tory Party with their over the top attacks on us.

I have just spoken with Nick in Strasbourg and he says that this morning has been "quite incredible". Not only did both he and Andrew get to make statements on climate change in the European Parliament but then they have been besieged by the media ever since.

The political move by 'the generals' who despite being retired have still used their position to lobby for Labour and the Tories against the BNP (make no mistake that is what this is all about), has backfired into giving us a massive media coup with the opening scenes of our brilliant European Election Broadcast being played over and over again on every news channel.

With regard to the list, this is not a membership list as such but just a collection of segments comprising of some members, enquirers, lapsed members, subscribers and supporters. It was cobbled together by yet another former member of staff who was sacked. I understand that the police have already paid her a visit.

And please call the police if you get any grief from our opponents telephoning late at night. Don't let these cowards get away with it. It is easy to track calls nowadays so they will find the culprits.

Peter Hain is going to the BBC Trust in his last ditch attempt to get Nick barred from Question Time. But it doesn't matter now.

If Question Time goes ahead - it will provide great publicity for the British National Party.

If Peter Hain manages to stop Nick appearing - it will provide great publicity for the British National Party.

If our opponents physically stop Nick from attending the recording of the programme - it will provide great publicity for the British National Party.
